i would also add some captions or text on the trailer cuz some people might like it if you include text like “Battle various monsters.” or “Gain Tons of OP Items” or something along those lines

i just realized that the reason my opinion was so high was cuz the music was fire :fire:
my budget just got cut by alot lol but ill still pay 25 rbx if its to give another dev feedback and the polishing looks nice

It’s free to play! Our full game that are still in the works however will be paid, but a showcase game for a combat system should be noticed by all, so it wouldn’t make sense to put a price tag on it lol ¯_(ツ)_/¯

oh yeah im sorry to bug you about this like alot of other people usually do but can you help me with my punching script theres a bug thats really gamebreaking and since you made a sword function i was hoping you could help me, link to the post i made is here. https://devforum.roblox.com/t/bug-with-my-punching-script/3087206/1

I thought the trailer was great! The game also is aswell, feels like a souls game. Idk if you can make IFrames on Roblox but are there any, or is parrying just the way to counter the enemies?

Awesome, now I know I just need to “git gud.” Also idk if it just me, but it feel like the early game enemies should have a lower health, or maybe just drop health potions.

That was the one thing I was worried about lol. I do feel like the early game is too punishing that maybe new players will be drawn away. :frowning: So we’ll be pushing out an update sooner or later!

Great, thanks! :smile: If the game is like a souls game (and to me it kinda feels that way) a tutorial would be nice, or even just a little dummy to practice on inside the house, cuz getting jumped within the first 1-4 enemies probably isn’t the best/fun or new players. I dont mind it, mostly. its just something I realized

Yeah, early game hell isn’t the best opening for Roblox players. Wasn’t on my bingo card today haha! I will be using these suggestions for the update!

Are the campfires checkpoints or do they kinda just exist to exist?

Edit: I keep forgetting this is just a combat demo (the games great even with just that) :sweat: The campfires would be great checkpoints and the space inbetween them feels right

The campfires have no function, but checkpoints will definitely be added. They serve bigger purposes in the main game though, thank you for the suggestion!

What kind of sword are we (the mc) using?

The sword is not yet named, but the sword does serve the MC purpose for story reasons we cannot spoil that you will find out in the main game’s release!
