Hi, did you file a separate bug on this? Search not updating when using the mouse wheel to scroll to an earlier search, then updating to a new list when clicking is a bug.

It is impossible for anybody to report any bugs to roblox unless you’ve been given exclusive permission to post in #bug-reports.

I have not been given that permission.

Hello I have this issue. This has really affected my productivity in my games and i have to resort to using the external editors like VSC or Notepad.
It sometimes happens, and sometimes doesnt. I try to type and then Studio hangs for like 10 seconds. I am on a Windows11 machine, and never had this issue before. Any help is appreciated.

Can you disclose any more information on this?

  • TeamCreate or local file?
  • Number of scripts and script sizes (or DM with the place file)
  • Does it happen with a new place with one small script?
  • Output window contents (like, was the place saved recently?)
  • Logs?

This issue happens randomly, on both local and TeamCreate file. This will happen in ANY games, with any amount of scripts, and any amount of their sizes. Even in a template Baseplate game with one script, this happen. My output window while having this lag is just this:

Completely normal, no errors, warnings.

I am not sure what you mean by logs?

As described in https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016022492-How-to-Retrieve-Client-Logs – we would need your latest Studio logs: after this happens, close Studio, get the latest Studio log and DM them to me.

I have noticed that in both studio and roblox, having obs open or the little amd performance overlay makes the game waaay smoother and also makes the script editor window much much smoother. I have no idea if it’s an issue with AMD or roblox. I have a ryzen 5 5600g, no dedicated gpu

The effects when playing roblox are very noticable when I uncap my fps, whereas playing at 60fps, it isn’t as noticeable
