Can excessive tweening create lag?

Excessive tweening on server will cause lag and the tweens to slow down. If you tween on the client then lag should be based on the strength of the client’s hardware. Remember that its still always good to optimize scripts though.

Depending on what you’re tweening and how excessive you’re tweening. If we’re only talking about few GUI objects here, tweening won’t really cause lag since it’s not that expensive.

I suggest taking a look at TweenService V2 if you’re concerned about server lag. It handles this kind of stuff nicely.
