Can't distribute model to the public

  1. What do you want to achieve? Keep it simple and clear!
    I want to fix my issue, which is not being able to distribute a Model to the public.
  2. What is the issue? Include screenshots / videos if possible!

  3. What solutions have you tried so far? Did you look for solutions on the Developer Hub?
    Searched everywhere and didn’t find any fix, only thing I saw was other people having this issue, which started 7 hours ago.

First question I have were you able to make any models public? If so how many did you make public as you cannot do anymore than 10 a month.

Are you id verified or have a phone number connected to your account?

i never made a model public before and no im not id verified but thats not the case & i have my number linked to my account, its happening to my friends that are id verified aswell

Alright are you doing it through studio or on the Roblox web? As I believe you have to do it through studio.

im doing it thru web, and no option on studio

Here is how. At 123 in the video you see where it says distribute on market place make sure that is turned on

that’s outdated and old… (aka i can’t make model public when uploading it)

that is odd as there are videos made in March of this year using the same method. I will have to try myself sometime tomorrow morning as I am not on my laptop.

Alright I see what you mean by how it comes up with that error, but I noticed it is on the marketplace just you can’t view it. Try creating a new account and copying the url link to that model for them to buy and it should allow them. As I got the same error and it seemed it wouldn’t allow me to distribute to the marketplace, but I copied the link and on a different account allowed me to buy it.

Update
It allowed me to publish one which it says it isn’t published, but on another account it allowed me to buy it. Trying to do a second and it is not being published to marketplace so this may or may not work. Also it won’t let me take it off the marketplace now or any of my other models that are on the marketplace.

Seems to be a bug on Roblox’s end. I recommend making a bug report post if you have the ability too.
