Changing/Adding Attributes Does Not Count as Change to Package

Reproduction Steps
Add an attribute to any object within a package (including the root of the package) or edit an already-existing attribute of said package

Expected Behavior
The package should detect a change and prompt an update

Actual Behavior
The package does not prompt an update

Workaround

  1. Add an object (such as an empty model) to the package, prompting it to update
  2. Update the package
  3. Remove the object in step 1 from the package, prompting it to update
  4. Update the package

OR, and more recommended

  1. Delete the package and the undo the deletion; this would register as it being updated.

Hello, this is still happening and can be quite annoying. I think this should be addressed rather quickly as developers may end up having lots of work and core functionality not saved as they do not know that the package hasn’t detected new changes.

One year later and this is still happening. Can we please get a fix for this. Everyone is not going to remember to keep adding/changing and then delete/undo the change every time an attribute is change in a Package.
