Chromaflow - A radial gradient editor in roblox! [DISCONTINUED]

Overview

Radial gradients is a problem all around roblox as of now because there are NO features or plugins that support radial gradients! That’s why I am the first person to make this radial gradient plugin which well… allows you to make radial gradients!

Why Chromaflow?

Mainly because editableimages can go out of beta at any time and people don’t know how much of a big deal they really are! The possibilities are ENDLESS! And also the fact that no one has ever made this plugin and the fact that it’s kind of inconvinient going to photoshop just to make a radial gradient then importing it to roblox and bla bla bla too much work! (Also because I was bored.)

How to use this plugin?

You can click the new button to add a keypoint and double click the circle in the keypoints to open the color editor. You can also drag the keypoints or input manually using the time parameter. Also make sure to see the warnings in the output in case you are doing something wrong. Also make sure that there is no keypoint near the time 0.5 while inserting a new keypoint as it would automatically error as shown in the output.

The plugin’s gui features compact design and resembling the roblox’s design.

Notes and Poll.

Yes yes yes! I know that this probably isn’t the best plugin out there but it’s the only one as of now! I have found 0 plugins that can do this in such a dynamic way! I also do acknowledge the fact that editable images are not out of beta and so this plugin won’t really work but when they are, then this plugin could be quite useful.

Also this plugin is…

F R E E !

Yeah!! Free! No payments needed! Only ran by donations! (You should definitely donate. :eyes:)

  • Amazing plugin! Looking forward to this!
  • Bad plugin.

(I am not going to add a mixed option because that way it doesn’t show true results.)

I always wanted something like this.
Thanks

Happy Birthday Katie. Thanks for making this, I’m sure it’ll be used alot

(and @emblazes)

Thanks for the wish!
I appreciate the gratitude!

I’ll try updating this frequently to add support for default gradients as well as fixing bugs and revamping the gui to make it fit the new beta gui!

I’ll probably adding more gradient types like reflected, angle (super hard to make. :grimacing:) and diamond!

I’ll also add support for a wider range of resolutions! Currently it only makes 256x256 gradients which is good but not that good. I tried optimizing it as much as I can but more optimizations should be made if I want to achieve 1024x1024 gradients. You could see the current speed (or atleast older speed, I used the same code) from this video I uploaded 3 weeks ago:

Shows a more in depth benchmark of the gradients.

This is a neat little idea! I like the way the colour picker is set up, too.

Good design

Thank you!

I’ll probably be working more on this to add angular and diamond gradients but uhhh… as of now I can’t.

Hello everyone!

To anyone who is seeing this, I will be discontinuing this plugin from now on! No need to be sad or anything though! I’ll discontinue this specific name of a plugin and I am currently working on another plugin with the same basis and a LOT and I mean it, LOT more features! It will include more gradients as well as more customization options! So till then… thank you so much for the support!

I was not expecting @Elttob here as well lol.
