I am not surprised. I was told that Studio is an older version of a browser. :]

@FromLegoUniverse It is a old browser xD roblox has just made HUGE improvments on the old browser they have fixed up.
I like to use Visual studio to make my own browers, and chrome has the best APIs to do so :3 does anyone here remember the old ROCKMELT browser, they gave me their desktop browser, but i’m not allowed to use it to anything else than research.
Each time i try to un install roblox player, it pops this message up after “something went went wrong, try to uninstall roblox using compatibilety settings” and i run windows 8.1 O_e
I think i’m getting Dizzy, i have been having this issue (topic) since 6th october and today my studio said it was not up to date, but once i uninstalled and installed again, no change…
Removed all roblox regedit, and i could play from website’s again, but studio is still broke D:

I did a clean install on my computer, and now my studio Works With playing games! but i hope i don’t have to do “clean” install EACH time studio breakes.
AND IT HAPPEND AGAIN, now i have to do a clean install again, to get it to work, and i’m not 100% sure if it Works even if i do clean install 
So you had the same issue as me, for some reason, directly after an install(in my case), it worked, then it seems to give up next time you try, haven’t been able to repro it, just guessing off what you said, and my own experience
I am still having the problem, and i have re installed Windows 8.0 atleast 10 times from Friday until today, i am giving up now, i have installed roblox, tried studio, failed, used regedit to removed roblox from all Places, clean install Windows 8.0 again, and repeated atleast 10 times from Friday until today!
and now i have given up.

Um, a question, how long will it take to fix this problem, i can not play games from studio anymore, since it keeps redicting me to the download page…
And more and more friends get’s the same problem.
I have again removed all roblox names from regedit, un installed roblox, removed all roblox related games on my computer, and re installed roblox, still same problem.
Also is there a test site, i can download and test if it’s the version, that causes this?
let me play just now, I’ll let you know if it breaks again, what I did:
Turned computer on
Started Studio
Opened Firefox
Visited game page and pressed play
Game loaded and worked like normal
@Weeve. Not what i ment, i’m talking about roblox studio, not the website.
I can run games from normal website, just not from the roblox studio browser.
I know, the same issue, but I was including opening up firefox, as it could have reset something, I was pressing play in studio, however, and it started working, although, it’s broken again, both in this recent update, and the one before it, I did have some time in which it was working since I had posted my most recent comment, though
So, um when will this be fixed, i still have the problem…

It’s such a bizarre bug. I have the same thing happen to me sometimes…
Upon pressing play in studio, it sometimes redirects me to the download page. Sometimes, closing studio and opening it up again works, and sometimes it doesn’t.
Also, using Chrome, same thing happens, though not as often. It also happens with IE, though rarely.
News…? :uhhh:
If you guys don’t want to apply a fix or look into it, tell us. We never got word of wanting to fix this nor stop supporting it.
