Issue Description
The Clockwork Headphones accessory has noticeable UV texture issues, including visible white seams and misaligned lines. Based on the design, the intent seems to be a simulated light reflection effect, but it does not achieve the desired look due to UV mapping errors. Upon reviewing the UV layout, some parts of the mesh interfere with others, resulting in a distorted and inconsistent texture.
A proper fix should be implemented to maintain the light-reflecting effect while resolving the texture issues.
Furthermore, there are no official policies stating that items must remain unchanged forever. If an item has bugs, they should be fixed regardless of when it was uploaded. It is ultimately up to the Roblox team to determine whether a fix should be made, not users.
Reproduction Steps
- Equip the Clockwork Headphones on an avatar.
- Inspect the texture, particularly around the edges and curved areas.
- Notice the visible seams and unintended white lines that break the texture.
Expected Behavior
The texture should be mapped correctly without overlapping or interference from other parts of the UV layout, ensuring a clean and cohesive appearance. White seams and misaligned lines should not be present, as they disrupt the intended design. Additionally, the lighting effect should appear natural and properly executed, maintaining the original vision while eliminating any unintended artifacts.
