Bear with me. I’m new to team create. This is a blank baseplate in Studio. Do I need to publish it first?
Correct. It’s only in studio. I published another blank place and it looks normal when played on the website.
Hmm, when you made this game then, did you have any different settings from the default, or did you not change nothing?
Hello, can I just confirm when this happened to you on your mac?
I tried to log into Roblox Studio Thursday night and it wouldn’t log in. I tried reinstalling several times. Gave up on Thursday and tried again on Friday. Finally got Roblox Studio to install and when ever I opened a place (any place, even the roblox studio default places) I got the weird skybox.
Yes, I’m on a iMac running High Sierra version 10.13.6.
Can you send me a screenshot of your lighting property?
If this issue has been encountered by more than one person (which it has) this may have to be a roblox critical
I am unable to send images but yes, this happened on my Mac earlier today.
But this would just be a bug, it is not serious enough (or meets the requirements) for a roblox critical.
When did this happen for you?

Have you checked if any of your plugins are malicious?
Sometimes a plugin may be an imposter of a popular plugin, it works as expected but is bundled with malicious code. Maybe one of these plugins are adding the skies?
When you create a new Baseplate, open Lighting.
Do you already see a Sky object inside it?
The screen shots I sent are from a new baseplate. Nothing is in Lighting. The only plugin I have is DataStore Editor by crazyman32. However this was happening before I reinstalled the DataStore Editor.
Wait I do have other plugins under Manage Plugins but they’re all “off” (greyed out). Would they still be considered installed?
I don’t think so, maybe post a screenshot of all the plugins you have? It could help us find any possible malicious ones.
No, this problem has happened with me too, and it happens even on a blank baseplate. I also noticed that if you turn on the rotating cube thing under view that it will appear in the skybox
Following up on this, I have published a bug report, this is not urgent enough to fit CRITICAL however it is an issue that needs to be addressed.
Can I ask what device you use?
I use a MacBook Pro, although I tested it out on a desktop mac and had the same outcome.
