[ Close ] My sky on roblox studio is weird

I’m trying to add you but it won’t let me. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I usually don’t use team create.

Maybe try checking if a plugin is hiding something somewhere you can’t see it.

Explorer should look something like this, try looking through it for anything suspicious.

I’m looking but I don’t see anything suspicious but then again I’m not that experienced to know what may be suspicious looking.

I’m 78% sure that if you’ve added an infected model or plugin and it’s already been added in and published, it’s too late. This has happened to me multiple times before. In the future, check models for ‘fire’ or scripts that aren’t supposed to be there. Your best bet right now is to make a new game from scratch, you won’t be able to salvage anything unless you’ve saved it all into your personal models.

From the comments I’ve seen, you should go into settings and change your rendering settings. For example, change directX to another option. This sometimes fixes certain problems.

Have you recently I used a Free model from the ToolBox? If not go to Lighting and delete the picture it should remove it, but if it is a infected model you may need to find and remove the model. If you go to Plugging and install a Virus checker ir will remove Viruses for you.

They came clear with the post that this is a new Baseplate with nothing ‘grabbed’ from the ToolBox; though I was about to ask the same question too, I was thinking that this was a Studio error.

https://developer.roblox.com/en-us/resources/release-note/Release-Notes-for-416 came out THREE days ago, maybe something a new update had implemented ‘bugged-out’ for Mac devices? Place some things in that place, make a new place, and contact a studio engineer; if you can, send us pictures.

Hi sorry I’m late but I don’t think it’s an infected object because it happened as soon as I was going to create a team create in a baseplate map and I disabled and deleted all my plugins.

uhhh I solved the problem by putting a lot of sky and removing them but the baseplate became black and there are squares instead of texts in the toblox.

have you tried restarting studio and seeing if that fixes it?

I’ll try, but everything’s getting weird.

It does seem like at the moment your best bet is to sit tight, lots of people are experiencing this issue and it seems once one issue is solved, it will lead to another.

I have sent out a bug report on this and I am working closely with the community sage team to get this report sent and reviewed as soon as possible.

This is a known bug. Changing the Lighting technology to Voxel should fix it temporarily.

Oh yeah, you will need to send me a friend request first.

Hello, I believe this may be caused by your operating system. Roblox Studio was refusing to open on a computer with MacOS High Sierra, which is the OS that I saw someone have the issue with, but it works fine for me with MacOS Catalina. Maybe try updating your MacOS if you have a Mac.

Hope this helps!

Can confirm that its also not happening on MacOS Catalina.

I don’t think it would be a Studio problem.

Please do not misuse categories.
