Correct, you are able to defend yourself but you know that defending yourself will cause the other person to go into argument and defend themselves basically saying the “defense” your saying is making up other bad things that @jakester4 has done isnt basically defending yourself about the post he made your just basically making other things up also, because you made that “defense” post @jakester4 is allowed to defend himself as well correct? so all that started an argument just by your “defense” you made. and im talking about the first reply you made to @jakester4 so you started the argument please know better.
Where was I making things up? Whilst I thank you for your 3rd party perspective, you don’t know anything about the context or anything on this situation so where was I “making things up”? Additionally, I knew that replying to jakester would’ve started an argument but it was either proving my innocence or submitting to him - and I’m not going to let myself get pushed over by him.
Alright, I’ll give my opinion on this, first things first this is your portfolio, not @jakester4’s, you could’ve been the bigger person and continued to argue with him in dm’s, to avoid your portfolio getting spammed, and your reputation ruined, all it takes is to message him in dev forums dm’s or discord. Now why do you have to do that? Well it’s either reveal to the world what your problems are, or secretly argue in dm’s, you can pick. If you already had done that, and he continued to spam your portfolio, then there’s something wrong with him or he’s trolling, obviously taking sides when I don’t know the full story isn’t very wise, I’m just saying what you could’ve done to avoid your portfolio getting spammed, which is unfortunate considering how amazing your builds are.
I couldn’t take it to dm’s - he blocked me previously when I told him his evidence was inconclusive for a ACS ban
Well that’s unfortunate, if that’s what happened then I guess he’s purposely making an argument to ruin your reputation. Although seeing as the argument has long since stopped, I should stop meddling.
