Hello there. We own a decently popular game called Era Of Terror, which is a game that involves survival as a dinosaur on a harsh island environment. We have been working to make this game the absolute best it could possibly be on ROBLOX, and if you want to check it out, here’s a link.
About The Job
We were made a progress saving system for the game a month back. Unfortunately, we lost contact with the original creator, so we’re out to hire somebody who’d be able to fix roughly 3-4 bugs that are present within the system, and make a couple modifications. The bugs we know of include:
- Players sometimes spawning under the map rather than on top, which happens when either spawning into the game or growing. StreamingEnabled is disabled.
- Players sometimes enter the game with a different saved animal in one of their save slots. We want the player’s save slots to only have animals that they played and saved as. We have found out that other players are able to access one’s slots on occasion; the slots are switching around.
- Resetting deleting animals in every slot rather than just one. We want a player that resets to only lose the dinosaur that they’re currently playing as.
- Not a bug, but we currently have a system where a player’s save slot lasts a certain amount of time. We want this entirely removed, so save slots last forever until saves are wiped entirely through studio.
