This is also happening to me, it started a week ago and reinstalling studio/removing all plugins did not help.
Workaround is undocking the script from the tab however I would prefer not to work like this…
I am experiencing lag on a reasonably decent PC in ROBLOX Script Editor. The issue is still around with scripts with very long lines of code. Turning off Autocomplete fixes the problem but messes up the workflow.
PC Spec:
CPU: i9 12900HK
GPU: RTX 3080 Ti
RAM: 32 GB
Studio Settings:
Graphic Mode: Vulkan
Graphic Settings: Level 21
This issue has been fixed in Studio update 0.572.*, autocomplete delays should not slowdown the script editor.
Autocomplete suggestion popup itself might show up with a delay in complex scripts.

Well, maybe in the next update.
One of the developers hit a crash, so the lag fix will have to be disabled and fixed before re-enabling again.
Edit: there was an issue when fix was used together with ML scripting beta. The issue is now resolved internally and should go out with the release next Wednesday, so hopefully only one more week to wait.

The fix is enabled again, hopefully it will not be blocked by other issues like last time!
But not all slowdowns are happening because of Autocomplete, so be sure to report stuff in Call to Action: Need Repro Steps on Studio Scripting Performance Issues if you continue to experience performance issues.
