Hi, I’m having problems with my recruitment category it isn’t showing on my page even if I refresh re-type the link in the search bar.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Probably because it’s muted. Bulletin Board is also hidden.
Edit: It’s in the collaboration category.

And no it’s not muted.
Muted by default. If you need to recruit people / show off your work you can reach it via the category dropdown near the top. It’s a very noisy and use-case-specific category so it doesn’t need to be clogging up Latest/New for all users.
Note: you can go into the category and manually un-mute it. The default is just that it is muted.

I found it via the drop down bar but previously you didn’t need to do that.
Was this a new update?
It was added to the default muted categories list earlier today.
That’s probably why.
Perhaps an announcement would be helpful as there may be others like me who are confused.
They only really do announcements for major reworks – sorry about that. This topic exists now so people will find this content by searching.

All decisions are vetted and made by DevRel.
The collaboration section moves very quick and most of the content is not relevant unless you are specifically looking for work / contractors. At that point you can manually unmute the category and see those posts. Since this forum is mainly intended for discussion and platform feedback it doesn’t make sense that half of the posts a new user sees on this forum are from the collaboration category. It doesn’t help with promoting meaningful discussion on Roblox development because these posts are drowning out the discussion/support posts.
If you look on the roadmap, Roblox is working on a more official solution for this so we can phase out the noisy category here in favor of that over time:

Hopefully that product will have better discoverability so it is much easier to weed out the noise. The Collaboration category simply doesn’t work well in a forum setting like this.
It would be cool if we could stop the topics from popping up without the category disappearing from the Categories view, but Discourse doesn’t give this option.
EDIT: Actually, looks like you can unmute the top-level to have the category pop up there. I’ll ask DevRel to unmute the top-level, then we keep the discoverability through the Categories page.
EDIT2: Done, Collaboration top-level shows again in Categories. (just not the subcategories)
