Yeah, and you know what these topics are for?! I’ll give you a hint, it’s not to scream that pcall is bad practice and actually find the OP’s problem’s solution! A thing you failed to do with the excuse “I’m not a compiler”. A good scripter won’t need that excuse and would be able to crack this down because after all I’ve provided all of the relevant code. Or maybe, just maybe it wasn’t the pcall at fault like you suggested in the first place? Maybe?! Maybe that’s why you couldn’t find a solution to your own made up error at line 1!

Mistake according to your own flawed logic that says if it’s not 100% it’s 100% bad! Which is simply not true. Nobody is confused about pcall but you it seems. You can’t grasp for your life how pcall can be used as a shortcut for code that could be thrice as long, as bad as it may be for performance (and in this case the difference barely matters)
