As of v0.2, the ColorProps plugin has been integrated into ColorPane, so this functionality is built-in.
ColorPane is just a color editor, on it’s own it won’t let you do things like applying colors to parts. If you want to use ColorPane for editing part colors, you can use the ColorProps plugin I mentioned at the bottom of the post.
