Yes, however they also have they also have, I would say ‘the right’ but that’s in accurate, but ethically speaking they do have a right to be able to retract / modify their views.

If I had said something that I regret the next day, which could be for whatever reason, potentially one you don’t deem valid, that I no longer hold the views I expressed in a post I would situationally edit / delete it. If you could state that they will never be rejected from making changes then I wouldn’t object, but then it may be even more complicated for the workflow.
I personally wouldn’t call this development, I feel this is discussing from a players point of view instead of a developers so would still flagged for aforementioned reasons, personally these flags have been acted on from times I have flagged similar posts.
They can DM us if they feel the need to assert their right. This is simply moving their topic to a less public location.
We’ll of course be reasonable about it if the user mentions they’re embarrassed or have good reason to edit / retract their topic. I simply mean we will not outright delete the topic without a good reason.
