Crescendo: The Soul Stealer – Broken for Years

The Crescendo gear has been broken for many years now due to missing the code it needs to function. This is a disappointing because its a classic Roblox item and it is a Limited U which is worth 400,000+ robux.

The Crescendo’s Current State

  • The gear is entirely broken
  • You can only hold it

I was notified of a game that has the correct code for the crescendo (made by luckymaxxer)

Expected behavior

What the Crescendo should do

  • The crescendo should lunge you forwards upon double clicking your mouse.
  • Upon pressing “E” it should release a projectile that chases the nearest player and kills them.
  • It should store all the souls (of the players you have killed) inside the sword and upon pressing “X” it should release them in all directions

Roblox Gears are pretty much deprecated and gears will never going to be updated or add gears to roblox

They haven’t supported or created gear items since 2019, and they have no intention of fixing them, so this bug report might be closed.

Gear hasn’t been supported for a while and they publicly said, they have no intent of fixing gears in the future or any time soon.

It would be nice if they fixed a few of the broken gear scripts, especially since this one was expensive, but realistically speaking gears have been discontinued and I believe they are looking into converting them into holdable accessories. This would at least allow gear owners to get some use out of their purchases, even if it is just cosmetic.

Agreed, I literally have multiple toy code gears that do absolutely nothing and only function as an accessory even though they can be equip as a gear… Like what is this?
