This post was created back in 2019 to document the updates for The Community Update. For version 2.3 to version 2.9.1, it’s all listed on our community server.
Revision 5010.1 - Version 2.2
Released on November 15, 2019- Two badges can be obtained. Coolant Dancer and “Who did dis” badge.
- The meltdown and arctic blast countdown has changed from seconds to countdown by minutes and seconds.
- Changed bright colors due to being too vibrant.
- Fixed an issue where the Facility Status would show when aborting the meltdown.
- Basic ShadowMap scenery added.
- Reduced UI white-space in Achievements and Emotes UI.
- Fixed an issue where if someone turns the fan off, while others are on the platform, would result in character physics bug.
- The ElectroPower can be activated or deactivated when meltdown is aborted.
- The ElectroPower glass would break apart rather than being deleted.
Revision 5010.9
Released on November 11, 2019- Removal of the advertising option in settings and the advertisements UI from the game.
- A goodbye message has been added.
Revision 5010.8
Released on October 27, 2019- We will be discontinuing the Advertising feature in DARF. As a result, modifications made for the advertising setting UI.
- Fixed grammar errors.
- Fixed an issue where the Player List was visible for a split second.
- Fixed an issue where the second and third keypad for the mainframe breaks when the user clicks on the clear button.
- Fixed an issue where if someone would to activate ElectroPower prior to the ending cutscene, would result in lighting glitches.

Released on October 18, 2019- As Roblox Premium has gone mainstream, the BC, TBC and OBC tags has been changed to the “” icon to resemble Roblox Premium icon.

Released on September 15, 2019- Removed Happy Birthday DeterminedTorres_RBX from the intro text.
- Fixed typo, “feactures” in sending feedback UI.
- EMERGENCY PATCH: Added debounce to keypads.
- Fixed epoch date format issue.

Released on August 21, 2019- Fixed an issue where some users were experiencing in-game locks due to an error at line 4415 when Intro is disabled.
Revision 5010.4
Released on August 9, 2019- Roblox has deleted “Kevin MacLeod - Basement Floor” for unknown reason. This music is used for the lobby. We have decided to replace the music with Kevin MacLeod - Walking Along.
- Fixed issue with some problematic assets causing a flood of ContentProvider:PreloadAsync() errors in the developer console.
- Removed the Coffee announcement due to its sound being removed by Roblox.
Revision 5010.3
Released on July 23, 2019- Fixed an issue where some scripts that is responsible for giving in-game badges would cause a script error and stop operating if a Roblox issue would to happen.
- Changed text when someone joins DARF for the first time. If you already seen the message before, you won’t see it. This only applies to anyone who hasn’t visited DARF before.

Released on July 10, 2019- Changed Experience+ info for members without Experience+, as well with giving more detailed info about the game pass in general.

The Working Den Extension
We’ve made some changes to The Working Den, by expending its size and changing its layout to be more detailed than before. -
Invite your Friends!
Since Roblox released SocialService, we are using the opportunity to invite any of your friends.
All features, changes and fixes
- We’ve fixed an issue where it was possible to teleport to someone who just joined the game.
- Fixed some typos reported by users.
- We’ve fixed an issue where the shaking effect and server announcements did not play, despite having them enabled.
- We’ve fixed an issue where small users reported seeing Intro_Desc placeholder text during loading assets.
- Quick Intro setting has been renamed to Intro.
- We’ve fixed an issue where fading to white did not work as intended.
- We’ve fixed an issue where for a split second, you are able to see your character during intro.
- We’ve fixed an issue where sometimes, the loading asset background would just immediately go invisible without playing the fading animation.
- We’ve fixed an issue where anyone navigating in the main menu and the meltdown/arctic blast would to occur, resulted in graphical glitches and incorrect game behavior.
Revision 5000.2, version 2.0_1
Released on May 17, 2019This update focuses on bug fixing and small quality improvements. No new features introduced in this update.
All features, changes and fixes
- We’ve fixed an issue where anyone have their default spawn set to Third Floor, that setting would be permanently locked.
- We’ve fixed an issue where some users reported seeing complete darkness after playing a special event cutscene.
- Debounce added for Reactor Power, all vending machines and coolant buttons to prevent click spam monstrosity.
- Removed the F button in vending machines.
- Improvements made for the Teleport to UI.
- We’ve fixed an issue where anyone who owned the Jokes on You badge, won’t show up as achieved in the game.
- The OW! badge can be obtained in the game.
- Fixed typo in the Feedback UI. why do i keep making typos all the time?
- Anyone standing on a button such as coolant or emergency coolshot button will get skidded off the button to prevent anyone covering critical buttons.
- Coolant in the tanks now drain when pumps are enabled.
- Foods obtained from Vending Machines can no longer be dropped. Food items will function in later revisions.
- We’ve fixed an issue where sometimes, the temperature rising would say RISING BY 0 or LOWERING BY 0. Update: This fix hasn’t arrived in the normal game just yet. Will be implemented.
Revision 5000.1, version 2.0
Released on May 15, 2019This update focuses on bug fixing and small quality improvements. There are some new features that are added in this Revision.
All features, changes and fixes
- We’ve fixed a visual bug with the emote’s icon not scaled correctly.
- We’ve did improvements for the options, adding the music icon, and adding more settings to each of sound and music settings; We’ve also fixed an issue where navigating to the Music Settings displayed incorrect setting options and displayed a “Music_Settings_Title” for the title.
- Special Event Cutscenes and Camera Shaking settings can be changed.
- Moved the Camera Shaking option from User Interface to the Gameplay settings page.
- We’ve fixed an issue where anyone who skipped asset loading, and clicked on the feedback button, causes the game to be in a broken state, resulting in rejoining the game.
- We’ve fixed an issue where the Countdown Iconography for Meltdown or Arctic Blast was not showing due to incorrect ImageId.
- Improvements made with the scaling in the Options UI; We also fixed an issue where each options would overlap each other due to scaling issues.
- We’ve fixed an issue where anyone without Experience+ displayed a “For only experience_plus_robux Robux” instead of the actual Robux for Experience+.
- We’ve fixed a visual bug where the timer for the Arctic Blast countdown was not showing.
- We’ve fixed an issue where sometimes, using the airlock lags the client-side.
- We’ve added the achievement section in the client info UI.
- We’ve fixed an issue where the Credits music would continue playing when closing the credits UI.
- We’ve fixed an issue where the Auditorium intermission screen displayed “info_title” periodically.
- The auditorium music won’t play during events such as Meltdown or Arctic Blast.
- We’ve fixed an issue where the game would lag for a split second for anyone joining the game.
- We’ve fixed an issue where the temperature system increases temperature, despite having all cooling systems enabled; (having the Reactor Power set to low, and Voltage Regulator set to low)
- We’ve fixed an issue where during the ending scenario, an error would appear in the Developer Console a bout a shirt failing to load.
- New achievement added; “Why u do dis?!?!?” and “OW!”.
- We’ve fixed an issue where purchasing an advertisement or donating cause an error in the Developer Console about the Developer Product image failing to load and displaying binary info.
- Improvements made with the Cooling Fans by adding sounds and fixing bugs.
- There’s a new setting to change how much the camera shaking intensity. This was requested a lot, and we are happy to have this option available.
- We’ve fixed an issue where the Reactor Power Control percentage bar didn’t match the current power level.
