Datastores saving issues

That’s just how it is. I don’t know the specifics of your game, and I’ll admit I didn’t backread much. But with how easy it is to exploit Roblox, you just need to be wary of what could be done and prevent it as much as possible.

You are right that you need to use remote events; they are one of the only ways the client can communicate with the server, so there’s not much alternative anyway.

the only reason I’m asking so many questions is because my game is already made and im procrastinating redoing a ton of scripts because the value system changes.

I personally dont think my game will get popular enough for it to matter. It probably will get 1 player who leaves after playing it for one second which is how all my games go.

I dont know… i guess ill just revert all my code back to the original. Even though sometimes it doesnt save the coins it doesnt matter since nobody plays my games anyways

I recommend you use ProfileService. Although this does not solve your problem, I believe it’ll stop you from making a dev forum post about data loss. Trust me, SetAsync alone doesn’t work.
