Decals are going into workspace, and not onto part when I hover over

When I click on a decal, it simply goes into the workspace without going onto any parts. I’ve had this issue for a while now.

Can you please be more specific? What do you mean “click on a decal”?

When I get a decal from the toolbox, or one I got from textures.com, it simply goes into the workspace.

Drag the decal from the toolbox onto the part instead of just clicking it.
