General Changes

  • Enemies can now use the Populated distance when targeting Passengers or Objects

  • The train itself can now be spectated
  • Decreased Handcar’s passenger boarding delay from 1s > 0.4s

  • Increased Tron Van’s max health from 1200 > 1400

NOTES

While there isn’t much to write about in detail here, I will briefly document what the new gamemode and special wave are about.

Thunderstorm is a new special wave that will cause lightning to strike players throughout the wave. Lightning will target a random player every few seconds and give a warning before striking at the position the player was at. Anyone hit within the bolt’s radius will take immediate damage on-top of being temporarily stunned. The power and speed of the lightning will increased based on the difficulty and how far the wave has progressed.

This special wave includes support for a weather system with the special wave giving tracks a special stormy skybox, storm clouds, and rain. Certain tracks such as ones that are indoors or ones that don’t have an environment that’d wouldn’t match rainy weather are blocked from being picked during this special wave. If these tracks are forced in VIP servers in tandem with the new special wave, the weather effects will not be present. The lightning will still be present, though it’s likely that it’ll strike a rooftop of a track if it’s indoors as the bolts account for track geometry. This special is currently blocked from Stacked’s rotation, though I will look at lifting this restriction soon.

Super Stacked is a simple bonus gamemode that is available in VIP Servers. It combines the effects of Special Mania and Stacked where special waves will linger forever while being chosen every wave.
