I like this thred, nice thred, get touched.
This post is very hard to understand… so I can only go by the title. We shouldn’t have a detection for every little executor out there, since that’s completely unmaintainable and not future proof. Instead, secure your code on the server. If you’re ever bored, you could code a generalized anti-cheat on the client that includes all executors and exploit scripts!
Exploits use their own environment/security level, so their _G
is separate from your local scripts. They can still access the _G
on the regular client-side, it’s just not the default for them.
Celery currently does not have its own environment and _G, and so it uses Roblox’s environment as far as I know for now.
Was this ChatGPT written? Your sentences do not make sense. You cannot just “detect” all executors and exploit scripts “out of boredom” at once if you’re not experienced in that topic. Especially right now, when new ones come out daily.
Detecting exploits at client-side is amazing and allows better and higher security rather than just “securing your code on the server”. Secure this server crasher, ping spoofer or a ESP, mate.
Security levels (whatever this is, it is called capabilities and was previously called identity levels) are not the same thing as environments too.
useful, but if this is possible to detect and prevent from the lua level how come its not already prevented by hyperion? seems like they could develop more into monitoring the lua environment for what should and shouldn’t belong. especially considering developers’ analytics dashboard already gets flooded with errors from exploit scripts
the glazing of this acedia mf is wild
That’s assuming you think these developers are competent. They are not
