Don’t Know Which Water to Use

Alright, so I’m making water for a map and I don’t know which water is better. Please tell me.

Granite (0 transparency) bottom
Foil (0.6 transparency) middle
Metal (0.4 transparency) top

I’m leaning towards the top picture because metal isn’t often a material associated with water, and it’s a bit brighter. If you think I could improve on them both please leave some recommendations. Comment which you think is better and why.

It might be an inconvenience but you could mix them both together. Like maybe place the granite and metal together.

If I mixed them together that’d cause an enormous amount of z fighting.

Not if you put the transparent layer slightly above the solid layer.

Why not use Terrain water?

The game I’m making it for doesn’t allow terrain.

I would choose water depending on how the map looks. But based on the two images, I would prefer the first one in most cases. It’s not too bright nor too dark. There are also unappealing stripes in the second image, which I cannot notice in the first image.
