Drag Depreciated?

I know drag (along with DragBegin and DragStopped of course) was depreciated a long time ago, but I’m now wondering why it was depreciated in the first place? Is there something that replaces it that I don’t know about?

It’s never worked very well, and it’s not very flexible. You can’t implement behaviors like snapping or constraints using it, and when you decide you need those, your only option is to rewrite it from scratch.
