remember that it is still in beta and the quality will rise up in future updates. Today is the first day the site has been set to public, so it still has down effects.
That is what I am currently working on as we speak.
Also, if anyone wants info on my DevGroup then read this.
What is the Idea/purpose of the website? Is it just another front-page? I don’t understand what goal does website have asides from listing few classic games, that could’ve been even better listed in just a blogpost. Can you explain?
In my opinion, this website is useless. Okay there are classic games on this website, I don’t think it will impress anyone…
YESS!! I remember you talking about this!
I feel like you could combine this with some of the ideas the community wants on the official Roblox Website.
Also make the buttons on the page send you right into the experience.
Plus I recommend using the term game/experience or just experience on the Website for consistency.
Maybe you could take some inspiration from a concept I made a while ago!
The website will include more categories and I am making them as we speak. The purpose is basic. Find your type of games easier. That is the main purpose of it. Then, other up-sides are these, and I think most people will agree to them:
- It is much faster and efficient than the official website.
- The design is cleaner and more modern.
- You can even add your games to the site, that you can’t do with a blogpost.
The worst rating given is a two. The other rates are much better than expected.
Cool!
Unless anybody else knows how to do that, then I can’t do that. I’ll try to look it up tho.
Oh, yeah I remember you now! ur the one that made that front page website concept look like the creator dashboard right?
I don’t get it. Can you explain further if that doesn’t bother you, thx.
Like what? Take a look at the #feature-requests:website-features and see what to implement for example?
Just pointing this out again…
What I meant is stick to one term, either Game or Experience as it makes it a lot easier to understand.
Yes, that’s what I mean.
Also, I would love to see more devlogs!
Umm, I changed? Where?
Done!
Ok, guess I’ll have a long reading time to do…
There are still some inconsistencies on the website… Here are all the Strings using the word game and the ones using experience.
Plus instead of writing “ROBLOX”, write “Roblox” as that is the way it’s now formatted.
Also, here you have the link to my devgroup’s discord channel to keep on-track on all the updates and get screenshots of development of not only ERBLOX, but also on other stuff: The Buds
One is the website, the other if the google form that is incorporated to the site. But I will change that in the next update.
We have gotten 3 suggestions from the website suggestions tab:
Suggestions:
- Really good app dudes!
- More games
- Clean up the Website, and add a light mode. Maybe add an Asset Store.
Replies to suggestions:
Thanks!
That is what we are currently working on. You can apply your own game if you want.
We’ve been thinking about making a theme setting for the mobile app. Maybe we add a slightly lighter mode with a light grey color.
What do you mean with “Asset store”? Like a store to buy the gamepasses? I couldn’t do that. It would include programming and you can’t program on google sites.
First off, thanks for reading my feedback, by that I mean create a store where developers can submit their free-to-use assets to make high-quality assets easy to find.
This project has actually inspired me to create my own Roblox Website Client thing. RoBetter. But even then I still love this project.
I think you should use https://figma.com for building sites. You can easily create UI Elements and even turn it into a functional site with it’s own domain. Here’s something I made with figma, it isn’t functional yet:
That would only affect roblox games.
Neither “Ro” nor “Blox” has been trademarked by roblox, and therefore as long as its not ON roblox, this wouldn’t be a problem. the TRUE problem here is the big ol’ roblox LOGO on the front page, as that IS trademarked
I have to say, your site is verry cool, even better than ERBLOX. Maybe we can consider ourselves as enemies in this case
I made this in a day?
Yes, but they will be reviewed by staff.
You jk
Considered. Since ERBLOX is allready made tho, I will make my next websites with Figma
So the logo in the background?
Yes it’s possible to embed code on Google sites.
Also, there are, as mentioned, some flaws with the website e.g.
Why does this page exist? If it’s under development then it should not really be accessible.
The text on this button is just too wordy.
I dislike the capitalised letters on the title as it’s slower to read that lower case and some pictures are blurry.
You also want to look at reworking your logo as there is a logo with text inside your logo.
I think what you might want to think about adding is a comment section and or a rating system/tag system for games so that people can find interesting games they look for.
However, there are a lot of positive things to say about your website for example the colour scheme and idea.
And at least it’s better than this sham.
One final note. I wouldn’t use this site unless it had something that Roblox does not have already. I also don’t understand where your traffic will come from and how you will make this profitable.
Good luck.
It says ERBLOX in a Roblox font.
I just making this for the community. I don’t want profit. But you can always donate to the developers if you wish (Devs: @EOASTUDIO, @ChadErgus1, @Gungorboy) or to the main developer group account @TheBuds_DevGroup.
For a second I thaught it was a virus, then I saw it was actually a website that looks like a banner of the 70’s.
Everything people suggest I consider into development.
Alright! Sounds good, I haven’t heard much on it that’s why. Good luck with this project!
Sorry for late reply
