Explorer doesn't consistently highlight selected objects after "Select children" operation

When selecting the children of multiple objects I noticed that the Explorer doesn’t consistently highlight selected children, despite them actually being selected. This is a visual bug with the Explorer.

The video below demonstrates what I mean:

The file attached below can reproduce the issue 100% of the time for me on Studio version 0.457.0.414557.

I’ve first encountered this today but others have stated that they’ve encountered the same bug throughout the last couple of months.

I have encountered this bug for the past while. I believe it started around Q1 of this year. Didn’t realize it was just a visual bug and thought that it only selected some if not any of the objects so I had to resort to selecting each and one of them individually.

Had the same issue a couple of weeks ago, thought it was just my end, and restarted Roblox Studio, turns out that wasn’t the case when others couldn’t see all of the selected children. Possibly the same issue I had a couple of weeks prior:

Hope it does get fixed in a few days, bugging me out.

This bug also happens to me and it is very annoying.
This seems to happen when selecting large amounts of instances. Also there a noticable delay when selecting this. When selecting thousands of parts it might take a few minutes to complete.

Also I found probably relating behavior when undoing deleting of large amounts of instances. It had the same kind of behavior to the bug with Select Children.
