(FEEDBACK) 1950's/60's map

Oh, and also here is the map from an aerial view: Screenshot by Lightshot

Looks great! So for MCBlev’s, here’s an idea of McDonalds in the 1960s:

On the outside, red stripes (or somethiing like this), and instead of concrete, I would use the metal material for this part:

Thank you! I will definitely do that

Screenshot by Lightshot How much better is this?

This looks really great! I’m a big fan of the 50’s, like jvstaldjni said

That would make it better.

Great map! Loving it, however, would make it better by adding what others have said above: bushes, trees, etc.

MUCh better… and one final thing - throughout the game make little imperfections like garbage bags, dirt, and dumpsters. It is important to remember in realistic builds these things. Make about 10 different assets of thing that could be commonly used throughout the city that make it look dirtier… and then I would say add in more street signage (not sure if you already have this)… and maybe even a few cars!

Alright! Will do! Also, this may be a better angle of the down town area I have made. If you look at this screenshot, there looks to be a decent amount of trees/bushes. But I will still definitely work more on landscaping, and adding more assets/props to make it look a little dirtier. Screenshot by Lightshot

Oh! I also do have one more thing to ask of. I do have some signage, but what do you think of this stop sign? Screenshot by Lightshot Stop signs in the 1950’s were actually very commonly yellow, so that’s why it’s yellow of course lol. I added a rust overlay, but I have gotten some feedback from people that it looks like blood. What do you think? lol

Looks good! I mean something like dumpsters and trash bags are good too.

I can tell you put a lot of effort into this! Looks really cool!

I cannot stress how much this would change the look of your map, definitely give it a shot!

But overall, well done! Excited to see what else you come up with

You make good use of materials on the “Club 44” building! Great job!

Reminds me of back to the future. There is so much work put into this map, especially the pier. The skybox makes it look so real

This isn’t necessary but you could adjust the lighting to make it appear more of a gloomy aspect, similarly to films that are set in that time era.

I’ll see how it looks! I also had the idea to make it so you can toggle it to be black and white if you really want that old timey feel

Added some more hills and trees around the map! What do you think? Screenshot by Lightshot , Screenshot by Lightshot , Screenshot by Lightshot , Screenshot by Lightshot

This is so good! When I was looking at the first few photos before they loaded I was so confused! I thought they were real photos lol. The world has a real nice atmosphere to it! My favourite is the hotel/inn it has really good colour and texture! Good job!

I believe this link leads to your map. Principally, I would say is that you should make sure players have the means to travel to the larger town areas (most of these pictures were taken just by the bridge) more quickly.

I spawned in as a police officer, so I believe that choice is what attributes to me being so far away from all the good stuff. How can I police if there are no cars to police around with? The map is expansive.

Lastly, I’d like to tell you what EBR gatekeepers would tell prospective members: make sure you have detail all around.

Yeah, sorry about that. One thing I am going to start working on for the game is making it easier to travel around of course. I am thinking of perhaps a gui pops up and you can chose what car you would like to spawn on the road. I have 4 different types of civilian cars, but I do not have a police car yet for the police force. Thank you for your feedback!

The architecture of the building looks almost similar to the buildings they have in the 1960s, Though I saw some of your furniture like the color of the oven is blue-striped which looks a little more modern than the 1960s oven. My suggestion for that is if you see something too futuristic in detail please make it a little bit older and classier because thats what most furnitures look like in the 1960s

I would recommend adding a chain link or wooden fence around the gas station to make it feel a bit more enclosed and perhaps some rusty metal texture on it. Perhaps some bins outside the McBlegs around the back or to the side? Either way this build is phenomenal.
