[Feedback] First Poly Game

Hi there, thanks for your time for reading this.
I am a new developer, I am developing for about 2 wreeks now. Today was my first day that i cretaed some Poly stuff, not really sure if it is poly or not. I would like to get some information about the map I made today, whether it is good or what you would add to it. I already have trees and other sruff made and will add that into the map tommorow or later.

This is map for upcoming new simulator.

Yeah I’d say this is low poly but as a simulator map usually there is a flat area for a lobby area and some hills and terrain around the outside.

There is a flat area but not enough, thanks for suggestion, I will add flat area somewhere behind mountains where lobby or spawn will be.

It’s a good map, but it’s not really how simulators “feel”. I mean, maybe your game may set a new standard, only one way to find out.

It will be simulator, you will find out the name when It will be released, and yes the terrain doesnt look simular to any other simulators.

Yeah, it definitely needs to be a lot more flat to give it that simulator fell, a problem though is the spot where you put the water, you should make a small waterfall going off of the mountain into the small pond. Other than that It looks very nice. Detailed, and well designed overall.

Look’s good, the only thing I am worried about is the collisions.

I have a simillar map using the same vertex paint tool (I believe it is called that) and the collisions are really messed up in Roblox.

But there is a plugin called OBJ collision generator by @XAXA , which generates collision maps for .OBJ files.

Collisions are good, I currently have no problem with them and the Map its self is really going good and smooth to make.
@21stPsalm Thanks for your idea, I will try to add a river falling of to that Pond and maybe even connecting it with sea

The map looks great and I’m sure once you add the flat parts, some greenery / trees and a pond it would look better, I feel like if there was a taller mountain (almost like a volcano type) with a different shade of colour than the other ones, or just extend from the small hill, and have a tiny flat bit.

It’s just a suggestion to add variation of terrain heights and decoration especially in the further right part where it looks a little empty.

The Island as a whole is good but in simulator standards
Its not the best lobby

I agree with you, but this map will not include lobby other part will include the lobby, so please before commenting look at comments. Thanks for feedback.

Adding more colors to the map would make it better.

This is a great low poly map in my opinion! Maybe add some sort of trees or larger rocks around the landscape of the island.

Thanks for feedback, there is already a lot of stone, and now I am making a second island, so It’s going to be even bigger and everything will be fixed

I mean like rocks around the map rather than a large landscape of them, something like that small grey spot in the middle if you meant that as a stone.

Mmh, I know what you mean, I am adding that right now, and making new lobby spot.
