Feedback Wanted on Skateboarding System Project

Hi everyone,
I’ve been working on my own custom skateboard system, inspired by games like Skate 3 and Skated! I wanted to open it up for feedback from the community—to improve the game and grow as a developer!

This is a passion project I’ve spent many hours on over the past week. I had to learn a lot of new ideas, like angular velocity, momentum, skateboard tricks, etc. Because of this I am expecting to have a few weak spots.

What I’m Looking For:

  • Gameplay feedback: What feels good? What feels off?
  • Bug reports: Especially logical issues or small edge cases that I might’ve missed.
  • Feature suggestions: What feels missing in my game, what is essential that I may have forgotten?
  • General polish: Anything that would help make the game smoother or more intuitive.

My goal is to use this in my portfolio when applying for jobs, so constructive critique is especially appreciated!

Feel free to try it out,. it would mean a lot.
Thanks in advance!

Hey this is actually a really awesome skate system. great work!

I found the tricks took getting used to as I’m used to games like boofsville system but once I got it down it was super fun. cruising on the board felt super smooth and enjoyable. the animations are incredible and I liked how the camera felt.

Genuinely incredible work, as someome who plays allot of roblox skating games I think you have something very promising and with a few bug fixes I can see myself playing this for hours

Thank you so much, this is great to hear!

Just out of curiosity, were there any specific things about the controls that made them feel unintuitive? I don’t mind switching stuff around if it makes the game more comfortable for new players.
