Berserk! is a round-based fast-paced arcade slice n’ dice styled game. Players will explore the map in search of upgraded swords with abilities and fight for the most kills. This concept is similar to the game “Sword Fights on the Heights IV” by John Shedletsky. Each round will end when the number of kills needed for the game to end is reached. There will be three game modes. Team Deathmatch (TDM), Free For All (FFA), and a Zombie/Infection game mode.
The role of scripters:
Scripters will need to program weapons with various abilities and attack styles, create an in-game currency and make sure it is exploit proof, design Power-Up crates that the players may purchase with their currency, design the round-based system, and other various things needed to make a well balanced monetizable game.
The role of UI designers:
UI designers will be responsible for everything UI related. This includes but is not limited to Custom Health/Stamina/and Mana bars. Shop UI, Gamepass Shop, Round timer, Round state, and a Killfeed.
The role of builders:
Builders will be responsible for the creation of all the maps and assets inside of the maps. This game is styled in a Low-Poly aesthetic to ensure optimization. Each map may not use too many parts to ensure that our game will run smoothly.
The role of 3D modelers:
3D modelers will be responsible for the creation of anything that is out of the realm of Studio such as all the Sword models, Pets (when those are eventually added.),
Trees, Shrubbery, and other small assets. This ensures that our game will not lag due to unions being inefficient compared to meshes.
The role of Animators:
Animators will need to create any and all animations relating to weapons, weapon abilities, and pets when they are added.
The role of GFX designers:
GFX designers will create all the games Thumbnails, Advertisements, and Icons throughout each event. For example, a Halloween event would require a new thumbnail and a new Icon.
The role of Artists:
Artists will be responsible for the creation of game pass Icons. Each icon will need to list the item and the price in ROBUX needed to purchase the item.
The role of the Composer:
The composer will be responsible for the music for each different level and the lobby music. The music will be updated throughout various events.
Each team member will be paid in either a percentage or a one-time payout after release. The Manager(s) and Development Administrators will decide how much of a %/Payout you should receive. We have base % and Payouts but through hard work and dedication, this payout will increase.
Base payouts:
Scripter: 30%
Builder: 20%
3D modeler: 20%
UI designer: 15%
Animator: Per asset after release and 10%
Artist: Per asset after release and 5%
GFX designer: Per asset after release and 5%
Composer: Per asset after release and 5%
Keep in mind that these are the base payouts. Your payment will only go up when you prove you are dedicated and efficient on this team. There will also be back up payment in case the project is canceled. We currently have 40K in our backup funds, but this amount will go up once we source out investors.
