First Time Composing

Hi, recently I have been seeing people make beautiful music on here and I wanted to have a try. Feedback would be appreciated! :+1:

Looks like I missed this topic.

The notes seem flat and don’t progress well. It also seems like you’ve been hitting the notes randomly rather than giving your ear some time to listen to it. Although that, the sounds are alright enough to not cause anything too dissonant.

Now let’s try to fix this. Have you ever tried delve into some music theory to begin with?

The songs very dissonant, not entirely bad for a beginner.
For your next compositions, try it like this.
Come up with a simple 4 note bass line/pattern with a double bass (if you’re orchestral) or any low end instrument of your choice and put the bass line on loop.
Then get a melodic instrument such a a piano, violin or a synth lead and just play around til you get a good melody going and base the song off that.

That’s just the way I do it but it helps so goodluck man.

Are you using Chrome Music Maker? If you are, I suggest switching to a full DAW, which has more potential for better and more full songs.
