I have answered everything in literal paragraphs. There’s only so much we can do for the people who were affected by the situation, and we’ve done the best that we can.
Companies suffer data leaks all the time. Now that the situation has already been dealt with days ago, you’re making the situation look bigger than it is. Look at the announcements in the Discord regarding the situation and you’ll see that you’re literally one of the only people bothered about our ‘lack of care’ for the situation. There’s only so much we can do. We’re not a multi-million dollar project, we’re a free side project.
The funny part is you’ve only screenshotted parts, and left most out to make me look like the aggressor. And, how does this stay on the topic of “Free webhosting”?
You’re a programmer. I never made this statement of “everything is hashed except IP’s and Emails”. To match a hashed code (MD5 for example), you must first take the user input, hash it, and check the response to the database. If the response matches the user input (after hash), it will match the database hash. How would I even hash an IP address in the first place, for use in a future reference where I would need that exact said IP to undo the hash?
Doeke uses anything and everything he can to attack people he no longer likes. I warned him to let me step down peacefully, knowing there was no data protection contracts in place. As a service owner, if he really wanted to verify everything was hashed, he could’ve easily asked for code snippits to review my programming before allowing his users to use it. I have done nothing wrong except the fact I stood up to someone who attempted to blackmail me into staying in his side project.
I’d also like to notate the fact that Doeke was well aware of the potential of this days before it happened. I told him to stop stepping up to me, which he refused to do so. If you poke a lion, you’re going to get bit. Obviously Doeke didn’t take the mere warnings that I had enough of his games, and he wanted to keep instigating and running my name through the dirt. That is the true reason I took such drastic actions.
I am not going to admit to guilt of something, but would rather let a court of law do so for me. I mean, that’s what they’re there for, right? Moral of the story, nobody is going to sue over a project that made 0% revenue. Doeke gave me authorization to the system under his own will, and the data was collected on a server in a region where there are no data laws. If the server is hosted in the United States, it follows the US law. If it is hosted in the United Kingdom, it follows UK laws. As the service owner, (who is hosting free websites keep in mind), he should know a thing or two about data protection laws. I still find it hard to wrap my head around the fact all I wanted to do was step down peacefully, and Doeke had the audacity to attack me directly, after warning of my capabilities. That was his mistake, and he ate the bullet for it. This could have all been prevented had Doeke learned his place. I was a 100% volunteer developer. Doeke decided to go MIA for months at a time, and I was the only one taking care of RBX Domains until the recent drama started. Doeke opened this can of fate. He can blame me all he wants, as well as his community, but the reality is, if you let me leave peacefully we definitely would not be in this situation.
You are the one who blackmailed many people with their own information. You are the one who threatened to DDos people. You are the one who called Doeke autistic.
You are the one who swapped to a competitor to attempt to do this all over again. Thank god you weren’t allowed to develop there.
#1, Doeke does have Autism. Aspergers to be exact. #2, I love how you provide that screenshot but not the one from our Snapchat where he leaked my alias, lol. In his eyes, that was my real name. #3, ofc he didn’t show where he threatened me with dos as well.
If you can provide proof of him threatening you, be my guest. But leaking almost a thousand people’s information (sarcasm) over one guy is too damn far. I’m not sure what your thinking.
I also have severe autism which impairs many parts of my life. And I’m as happy as could be.
Also, this alias? Who gives a damn about an alias on a messaging service? Apparently in your eyes, it’s your credit card number.
thousands? I don’t think you understand how big this project was. there was merely 100 users registered with the service. Nice attempt to get me to admit guilt btw
You don’t. But you act like sharing one message is sharing your entire contacts list. My god, you try so hard to be innocent and yet you can’t even back yourself up.
Like I said, mr judge. You can summons me into a court of law, in which I will throw everything on the table, but here in a thread, not going to happen. You’re trying to push me off as someone who is this terrible monster, yet you’ve only been fed one side of the story. Says a lot about you.
