I’ve had my eye on the TeamTrees Fundraiser for a bit and had an idea of creating a Roblox “fundraiser” place where all Robux revenue from the game will be Devex’d and donated to the fundraiser. I think it would be a nice way for Roblox players to join in on the fundraiser.
Problem is, I’m not entirely sure if these types of games would be allowed. I haven’t read any rule in the ToS that directly says that they are not allowed, but I would like to make sure before I go forward with this idea.
No, they are not, as Roblox can not verify you are actually sending the money to charity. They have taken moderation action against groups in the past that sold ranks for the same reason. Roblox is also a really bad avenue to collect money for charity since Roblox takes such a big cut (30% tax and then DevEx rate is only fractions of the original cost)
Also, like all “Is ______ allowed?” threads, if you have to ask, the answer is no.
