Game based off of Metal Gear

I was recently introduced to Metal Gear (MG) and thought: “HMM, seems like a cool topic.”

I tried to create a NieR:Automata game before but gave up and here I am, creating another sword game.

Game progress after 4-5 days of development:


I’m a small solo developer and this is my first post by the way. Any suggestions are appreciated!
Current ideas:
-More sword combos
-Give enemy better combat AI

Note: The meshes and audio weren’t made by me because I suck at blender and sfx but yes, everything else was scratch*

Your game looks pretty fun! I would defiantly try it. For suggestions, I would suggest adding a finisher sometimes when you kill your opponents. Maybe you could even add in a sliding mechanic. Hope this helps and keep working hard!

Finisher sounds like a good idea. One issue though, there will be lots of enemies and spending a few valuable seconds could end the game. I could add a finisher to the bosses perhaps.
Also I’m working on a Double tap W to dash script.

Hey there! Your game looks pretty good! I’d defo get better enemy AI, pathfinding and such, although pathfinding on roblox has been known to be, bad at times. Finishers could be done and refill all health and stamina at the cost of losing those few valuable seconds.

movement is key in a game like this, take example Evade a fast pace runner, this game wouldn’t be nearly as fun as it is without the great movement system, you build speed and avoid obstacles, jumping from spot to spot, wall running would also be a great feature in the game and would allow players to jump around the map at high speeds.
