Using copyrighted images is not ethical if it is for advertising your game.
who really actually cares is the thing though
The artist you stole their work from cares.
I didnât steal their work I just used a GFX pack for free from a tutorial
If you are saying that even a free GFX pack is not ethical then even a font isnât, the artist published his work on the internet, he should have known the consequences, also this was most likely a practice work so I donât see anything wrong here? Also, the artist will most likely not notice Roblox gfx using their work.
If a font is copyrighted, then yes, it is unethical to use!
The artist DOES know the consequences and thatâs why it would be copyrighted.
Actually this GFX is being used to advertise a game. If this was a practice work I would be fine with it.
Adobe probably wonât notice you pirating photoshop. Does that mean you should do it? No!
Most fonts on the interent are not copyrighted.
He said he used it from a free GFX pack, even if some images are copyrighted, it wasnât his fault and thereâs nothing un-ethical about that.
I still do not see the problem though?
It is his fault if he chooses to advertise his game with copyrighted images.
Thatâs my point.
You took the first sentece out-of-context, I meant that he used a free GFX pack from youtube, there is also no watermark on any of the overlays so they are most likely royalty free.
This is getting off topic and I donât want this to escalate into an argument. If you want to discuss this further DM me.
I quite like this! I get why people say the effects are a bit much but I feel it fits in with the scene as it is war, there is fire, smoke etc. one confused thing though.
Looks like there are fingerprints on the artwork? Would you mind explaining? Otherwise, it looks very nice.
The camera lens has been touched, this is a photographer capturing a war scene and he prob touched his camera lens
