The work is good, but for god’s sake don’t use these clickbait post titles. Roblox wants developers to upload more tools for others to use, and Roblox isn’t falling apart.

I’m glad you like my post. Thank you for your feedback regarding my title. I have adjusted it to be more professional and structured!

Bro invented the color wheel. I would personally not use clickbait so the tool would be more accessible (or just use google color picker like a civilized person :frowning: )

ai generated post + ai generated logo + looks like the code for it was written by AI + title a direct copy of “LEARN WHY THIS GUY DISCOVERED ONE WEIRD TRICK! DOCTORS HATE HIM!”

removed the link because it links to some potentially nsfw material

That’s not a way to drive engagement. You’re essentially spreading wrong information by “roblox not allowing your kind of projects/tools”.

Thanks for your feedback. Based on research I conducted, I found there was a gap in solutions that allowed developers to provide a color wheel to their in-game users. For instance, popular games such as Dress to Impress did not provide users with a comprehensive color wheel, but instead provided users a list of colors to click from.

Additionally, I designed the color wheel to be highly modular, which makes it extremely easy to implement. For instance, when you call the module, it yields your script until the user picks a color or cancels the interaction, then returns the color they picked or nil.

This allows you to quickly integrate the color wheel into existing systems in an intuitive manner by simply storing the color value returned, then checking if it’s not nil as their selected color, with the module automatically managing yielding functionality.

If you have any feedback on the design I would be happy to hear it!

I appreciate your feedback on the formatting of my post, and I apologize if the wording made it sound like I was implying that. I have adjusted the post to enhance clarity.

Thanks for your feedback in regard to the tone of my post, and I can see how it may sound overly formulaic. I have adjusted it to sound more natural and I will take that into account for future resources.

It’s seriously embarrassing how you changed the post title after many people started to criticize what you have done. New developers won’t even read the comments and this activity is honestly disgusting.

I did mention this, however you do this activity in EVERY of your posts and plus what @zblox164 said, the DevForum is a place for developers to behave professional and ask for assistance and show their work. It is NOT a social media site like TikTok.

To clarify, I adjusted the title based on user feedback, which aimed to enhance professional appeal. I’m happy to hear if you have anymore suggestions!

The dev forum is not a social media platform like TikTok. You shouldn’t be going for engagement based on titles with extreme clickbait. You can make a title more “eye catching” (although the dev forum isn’t really meant for eye catching titles at all. Just saying) without going to the extreme of “ROBLOX is Falling APART… They DONT Want you to Use it!” (which is by the close to the original title). Basically I’m just saying the extreme is just quite honestly out of place for the dev forum.

You absolutely don’t get the point. If people want to use your work, maybe first share it with your friends. People will come and see your work if it’s eye-catching, but not by spreading misinformation like “Roblox doesn’t allow it”, which you use for every one of your posts.

Thank you for the suggestion! I have shared it in a few communities, such as the hidden developers’ Discord server. This will help improve its visibility.

Stop glorifying promotion and “clout” in a developer community. Devforum is supposed to be a place where you can share your ideas and creations, and discuss about certain topics, iirc, it’s ingrained in the guidelines of devforum

I understand you are frustrated with my tool. Is there anything that I can do to improve its quality? By engaging in constructive feedback, we can focus on improving the product.

If you ARE going to make sure that your work gets recognition, go promote it on social media. Whatever projects I made was to assist people in their work. I don’t like to force people into using my work. I’m just showcasing my work and hoping I can make it better by people giving me advices.

Wanting to make engagement is not something you should do on the DevForum. Plus, AFAIK, misleading topic names is against TOS.

If you are willing to say that the post title is not misleading what about this?

I saw that you made your title as misleading and click-baity as possible. I know that in devforum we’re not supposed to judge others based on their previous mishaps, but you’re basically the guy that made ai-generated plugins
