Introducing GODS COLOR—a meticulously crafted color picker that redefines how environments come to life. With easy setup and a significantly user friendly interface, GODS COLOR dominates Roblox studio.
Easy
Setting up GODS COLOR is one of the easiest things you can do in scripting. Simply Require the module and it returns the value.
Level of Detail
With RGB and HSV along with an adaptive color wheel and value adjuster, GODS COLOR provides unprecedented detail for your players.
The work is good, but for god’s sake don’t use these clickbait post titles. Roblox wants developers to upload more tools for others to use, and Roblox isn’t falling apart.
Bro invented the color wheel. I would personally not use clickbait so the tool would be more accessible (or just use google color picker like a civilized person )
ai generated post + ai generated logo + looks like the code for it was written by AI + title a direct copy of “LEARN WHY THIS GUY DISCOVERED ONE WEIRD TRICK! DOCTORS HATE HIM!”
removed the link because it links to some potentially nsfw material
The color picker I made is intended to be used by your players. My color wheel is easily scriptable through the included module so that you can get colors from your players without hassle.
While its true you can google a color wheel, you may not want your players to have to do this. Additionally, not all players can access google such as mobile or XBOX players unless they have a different device (But theres the trouble of manually entering hex codes)
It drives engagement because people interact with the post which allows it to get initial views. Then when I change it later, the post will already have a foundation so I don’t have to struggle in a sea of trash products.
People click on things that stand out. There is a sea of content. If they see a resource post with 0 views, 0 replies, and no interaction they will likely not click on it
The sad reality is that people often associate existing views and existing replies with quality.
It’s seriously embarrassing how you changed the post title after many people started to criticize what you have done. New developers won’t even read the comments and this activity is honestly disgusting.
I did mention this, however you do this activity in EVERY of your posts and plus what @zblox164 said, the DevForum is a place for developers to behave professional and ask for assistance and show their work. It is NOT a social media site like TikTok.
The dev forum is not a social media platform like TikTok. You shouldn’t be going for engagement based on titles with extreme clickbait. You can make a title more “eye catching” (although the dev forum isn’t really meant for eye catching titles at all. Just saying) without going to the extreme of “ROBLOX is Falling APART… They DONT Want you to Use it!” (which is by the close to the original title). Basically I’m just saying the extreme is just quite honestly out of place for the dev forum.
You absolutely don’t get the point. If people want to use your work, maybe first share it with your friends. People will come and see your work if it’s eye-catching, but not by spreading misinformation like “Roblox doesn’t allow it”, which you use for every one of your posts.
I am a solo developer so I dont have friends who do roblox. Plus its different to self promote in one post than going around like Im promoting a discord server or a game.
Im not directly profitting from posting this content so I dont have a significant incentive to manually gather people. The only way I actually profit from making posts is by having people critique my work to find bugs to enhance the product for my players.
Stop glorifying promotion and “clout” in a developer community. Devforum is supposed to be a place where you can share your ideas and creations, and discuss about certain topics, iirc, it’s ingrained in the guidelines of devforum
If you ARE going to make sure that your work gets recognition, go promote it on social media. Whatever projects I made was to assist people in their work. I don’t like to force people into using my work. I’m just showcasing my work and hoping I can make it better by people giving me advices.
Wanting to make engagement is not something you should do on the DevForum. Plus, AFAIK, misleading topic names is against TOS.
If you are willing to say that the post title is not misleading what about this?
