Well according to him, it’s his style of “marketing” and “engagement”.
Jesus christ, you don’t need to be so harsh. He at least did a job, I know damn well my ass ain’t asking chatgpt to make all of this - would you? Do you feel like a hero being rude to people on the DevForum? He provided us with something, and it works so why should we care?
I still don’t know what the clickbait title was
Guys starting to think this is the reincarnation of chaseroony with the AIposting
This reminds me of ColorPane but very barebones ngl, this is basically just studio’s built-in color picker, but even then that’s better than this dude
Thanks for the feedback regarding gods color. To clarify, God’s color is an asset for game developers to give their players.
Gods color is not designed to replace roblox’s default color editor. in fact, it cannot be compared to Robloxs default color editor in any way because they are entirely different. My color wheel is given to players in video games for color selection while the default editor is for developers to edit their creations. The functionality mentioned [having a editor very similar to roblox’s] provides a great deal of detail and suitable for most applications. Many games that prompt users for color selection typically do not offer this level of detail.
Additionally, Gods color is extremely easy to use, increasing its accessibility for developers. Simply require the module located inside of the GUI
Iocal GodsColor = --add here
local module = require(GodsColor.Prompt)
Then initiate the prompt function
local result = module.prompt()
The result is the color they selected. If they cancel the prompt it will return false. You can easily implement gods color wheel in your scripts with this accessibility.
I hope I was able to clear this misconception and that you find use in my asset: God’s color.
this response feels ai generated, especially this
Sorry if my communication style feels formulaic. Its my intention to be professional and constructive
what was the point in clarifying your asset name here, you used the asset’s name like 5 times in this post alone
Wouldn’t the atheist developers not use this? Like I get this is just a naming thing, but if you’re advertising this, would you want a name that everyone would agree with? For example, would vegans buy “Steak with 10x more protein”? No they wouldn’t. Despite it having a lot of protein, why would they eat meat. I get that a plugin is a bit of a stretch related to my example, but still, why do you call it Gods color, despite it just being another color picker?
I just wanted to add that I’m not an atheist, I do believe in god.
Rapidtables color picker does the same thing. Plus I’m not only using color pickers in Roblox studio, so having one on a browser is super helpful as I can access it from other applications too. And I get the point, this would take less clicks, but I also do have a lot of tabs with references images and random stuff that I use to develop so I’m gonna use that and clicking Gods color would just take longer each time.
No I think it’s literally just color. Do you feel a sense of enjoyment when changing colors or something? Are you like the representative of the non epileptic association or something?
How exactly do you perfect color? Are you implying that there is a superior color against inferior colors? Is this perhaps racism I sense?
Please be more descriptive and provide a lot more crucial information whenever you make community resources.
a lot of these claims make 0 sense
what does naming something “god mode” have anything to do with religion and how does a color picker make you sense racism
The color gods have decided that as of this exact day and at this exact millisecond that this color picker makes the other guy sense racism.
An ai generated logo would have way too much saturation and would probably look like what you see in simulator game icons
the greenscreen in question
if not ai it’s obv copied from somewhere, on the off chance I’m wrong the green around everything is weird
edit: it IS off a free pictures website
Thanks for pointing out quality issues with my branding. I used a copyright-free image from online rather than creating a custom logo, as my main objective was to share the color wheel. In the future though I will be more mindful!
Yeah bro ur response sounds very AI to me and it’s annoying, so ima just leave it at that, but i’d just say expand the functionality of your resources, make them have unique features to set yours apart, write your posts yourself, and remove that clickbait ahh title of yours cuz this is not YouTube lil bro i sorta gave you the benefit of the doubt before but this has been a re-occurring theme for some time now.
nah ts crazy tho
but tbh this is literally a color wheel, which is cool for sure, but he’s trying too hard to replicate Apple’s marketing.
What is religion without god? Why name something Gods color and advertise it to an entire community including atheists.
What do you think “Color. Perfected.” Means?
I understand the sensitivity of religious topics and I can clearly see how it can be frustrating. I have changed the marketing and I will be more mindful in future posts. Do you have anymore changes you would like to recommend?
