Grainy Image filter

Is there any way that I can make a viewport intentionally grainy? I am going to use this for a horror game.

I don’t think there is a way on studio but you can use an image editor to do so

Well, the problem is that the image that is going to change. And I am not going to be able to predict the image.

I think this might be what you’re looking for: How do I make a grain effect?

Your best bet would to make some type of grainy thing on a image editor but make the background transparent so you can upload it as a image on Roblox and just make the image label background to transparent so u have a image to put over the image you want the filter on and due to the image background being transparent you can still see the image but it looks grainy if that at all makes sense.

Hey thanks. That does work for image labels but it doesn’t for image buttons for some reason (which is what I need). If there is not alternative I will just make the effect myself. Thanks

Edit: ImageButtons don’t have scaletype.

Yeah if that is most likely what I will do.

Hey! I’m back with your solution (at least it’s what I think)

Here’s the model by the way: Showcase Grain - Roblox

You can adjust some things, like transparency, change the scale of the grains, if you need help just ask
