Visual Bug for VIP Servers on a group
So I’m a developer for a group and I do not own premium, however the group owner does own premium and I tried setting up VIP Servers for the game, however when I put up a VIP cost for 25 robux it then showed me that the robux returned will be 2 and a marketplace fee of 23, though the owner of the group then tried doing the same and setting up VIP Servers for 25 robux and it showed him that robux returned will be 17, all of this was done on a group and it could cause some confusion to non-premium users who try setting up VIP Servers on a group game
This Visual Bug usually happens on groups, when the someone within the group who owns premium tries setting up a VIP Server the Tax is then 30% while when a non-premium user tries setting up a VIP Server the Tax is then 90%
Picture of my screen (I DO NOT OWN PREMIUM)
Picture of the group owner (HE OWNS PREMIUM)
If you want to try recreating this bug then get a person who doesn’t have premium and make sure he has access to edit VIP Server values and set any price and it’ll look like the group will gain 10% of the revenue from the VIP, then find a person with premium and do the same then it’ll show that 70% of the revenue will go towards the group

By server tax do you mean “Marketplace Fee”? If so then I’m pretty sure thats not a bug. If he is the owner I think he gets more. Am I misunderstanding. The Marketplace Fee and You Earn seems fine to me. I haven’t made a VIP server but I think thats mean’t to happen…

This is very simple. Like @misssurenitysweety put there is nothing wrong with it. People who have premium gets more robux from things like this then if you do not have it. As it says when you buy premium you get more from sales. So to make it shorter if you have premium you get more from sales then you would without. Also this is not a bug as it’s what roblox made it to be. Below you can see what I mean in a picture.

This was changed recently, where non-premium users will get the same as premium users.
I can’t find the post, but I’m 100% sure this change took place.
Edit: Here is the post: Unified Marketplace Fee for Dev Products and Game Passes - #38 by Intended_Pun
The post says they only unified gamepasses, but revenue to groups has always been 70%, so this is still a bug.

I am sure it has not due to I took that screen shot just a few moments ago.
Edit: Sorry just looked at the post and it’s the same then what I put that people with premium get more robux when people buy things from games.

… Roblox takes a 90% tax from purchases set up by non-premium users. All you had to do is research a little on the topic to know that.

Actually, no. The fee for VIP servers will always be 90% for non-Premium users, like it was.

Yes it has but it’s 30% for premium members. The person who posted this was confused why people with premium were getting more and thought it was a bug.

This is on a group game. Groups have only 30% tax applied, no matter what, premium account or not.

As far as I know, that was because having a Premium subscription and 100 R$ was a requirement. Since they had then Premium, the fee is 30%. This changed when only 100 R$ were needed to make a group.
Not sure about this, I just guess it is something like that

People above don’t know what they’re talking about. Group items are always taxed the same, no matter who is editing the prices.
This is totally a display bug, it should always display the same tax for group items.

Apologies for the confusion here, but this feature is functioning as intended. If you have any further bug reports, please create a new topic for us to look into.
