Help Preventing Studio Extreme Usage / Unions From Crashing Studio?

Hello Developers, I am creating a game and have been unioning for a very long time.
For the past few months since ROBLOX rolled out updates to unions, I have found that unioning multiple parts together at one time seems to cause studio to stop responding, and not recover forcing me to completely force close the studio instance.

For instance, I have been having to slow down development and select 3 tiny parts and then do 3 more so that studio doesn’t die immediately trying to union a part.

Is there a way to push around this? Or adjust any settings in studio that would stop this annoying problem from happening?

Example:
I tried to union 18 very small parts all the same material and color together, and it loads forever and eventually says “Roblox Studio Is Not Responding”

I have excellent Computer Specs and Internet Connection.
Additionally I have noticed when using any instance of Roblox Studio, I also have a major usage hit on my computer, running things such as GTA V or other demanding games does not have this impact on my device like studio does.

If anyone has any suggestions or tips to make studio less demanding on my device / to avoid having it crash when unioning, please let me know. Thank you.

Try using fpsunlocker might reduce usage little bit. I think roblox should create microsoft store roblox studio to improve ram usage

Possible Solution could be to download a lag reducer software, might work

Just going to casually leave this here, Do Unions reduce lag? - #5 by vanletts

The only solution is to use mesh parts. Never use unions. Also roblox will never and im 90% sure they cant improve unions in any way

it’s not an issue with your computer or anything, it’s just studio itself can’t handle a lot of unions. unions are extraordinarily laggy, especially when used in high quantities
