How can you get precise shadows and lighting in your games
Well, there is a simple property in the Lighting property called ShadowMap, you can read more about it here:
Try to be more specific with your building support topics, maybe try to include an image showing the kind of lighting you’re trying to approach.
thanks for telling me about this. and sorry about not adding a image
Roblox has a tab in studio called “lighting” there you can add a shadow map and different kind of lighting. I recommend using a celestial body dragger so you can precisly use the lighting and correctly position your celestial objects (ex. sun and moon)
Thanks for the help. I will try this
No problem, I found you a tutorial: https://youtu.be/mEbkjJiTkAQ

No problem my friend! 30charrsss
One thing what is the meaning for chars. i’m new to the dev forums so I don’t know what that means
Chars is characters you need 30+ characters in every post you make.
ok just making sure what that meant
Did it work? 30 (charssssssssss)
You should use the properties in lighting to change the softness of shadows, ambient lighting, etc. SunRays, ColorCorrection, and Blur can be very useful as well.
This is a great tutorial that shows how to make good lightning (it covers precision as well) for beginners.
It should have everything you need
