I was testing my game today and i noticed by holding shift and trying to run around normally, a button showed up and it forced me out of the game.
This is not a great shortcut for this button as most plugins / scripts use left shift for sprinting and you will regularly use the right mouse button to move the camera.
I’m not sure if I should raise a new bug report about this, but this seems to be related to an issue in OSX where you can no longer rotate the Camera in Play mode with right-clicking.
When I try to click it the mystery menu pops up with these options:
Select UI layer "prompt Overlay"
Select UI layer
It seems to also intermittently force me out of Roblox Studio.
My workflow was very dependant on being able to look around with the camera, so hope it’s fixed soon.
I’m having the same issue, which sucks because my game has a sprinting system.
I tried to get around it by setting the keybind to Ctrl instead, and it seemed to-
no, the same thing happens with the Ctrl key.
Both, left and right.
This is also occurring to me in studio. I am right clicking to rotate my camera and it keeps prompting me to select UI elements. Even when I disable UI (via the top right button) it still occurs. Any fixes?
I can trigger the crash by spam right-clicking while holding shift over a few frames on top of each other. It’s not a crash though, Studio just freezes and if I leave it long enough the context menu popup shows up as a black rectangle that shows above all my windows. I think it’s related to accidentally clicking on the topmost context menu action while triggering another context menu.
