How can I properly change an R6 rigs scale, without messing up its joints?

I’m creating a tower defense style game, and have been trying to figure out a way to properly shrink/resize my R6 characters/towers, however whenever I do it, it messes up the joints which makes the animation look weird.


I simply thought taking the model and just using the scale tool would work but apparently not. How do I fix this?

How would I exactly apply it to the character?

I’m not entirely sure, you’ll probably have to play around with it a bit. I’ve never done anything like this before so I’m not sure exactly how to do it.
