Whenever I save something to Roblox, the success of the thumbnail is … random. I have no idea why some things face forward while others face backward like my simple leather chair here. Is it possible to edit the thumbnail? Is there a way to ensure the thumbnail shows the model at the best angle? Please explain it like I am five …
To my knowledge there is no way to change the thumb name on models/assets without being a Roblox admin
Is there a way to ensure the image is rotated properly before I save it?
mabey I am not sure thought you might also be able my just rotating the primary part
There is a definitely a way to change it. Look at admin commands models for example, they usually have a camera instead parented to a thumbnail part that somehow makes the thumbnail. But, I have no idea how that would be set up and how it works.
I have tried rotating it and it hasn’t worked for me yet.
admin commands models? where is that?
For example: HD Admin Commands, Kolhs Admin Infinite, Adonis, Basic Admin Essentials, etc. (Sorry if I mis-spelled one of those names lol)
This is how to do it:
ThumbnailCamera
Use that. You can find a tutorial on it
where is the ThumbnailCamera. where can i find it
is there a different tutorial because I couldn’t find it and I’m failing right now. I am obviously not understanding something because this is what I’ve done and this is so wrong…
Just put ThubnailCamera in the search in the explorer
I never gave you a certain one, so Idk which tutorial you watched
ahhh I was thinking it was a community tutorial not a youtube video tutorial. … lol… thanks
