I’ve noticed that some users have a sort of “title” next to their name
How does one get one of these titles?

Join a group > Click your picture at the top right > go to settings > it should say title with a dropdown bar > click your title
That only lets you choose a title out of the groups you’ve joined.
That is intentional, you’re unable to select a custom title with the current configuration.
Click the menu button next to your profile picture and select groups. From there you can join any of the developer groups.
