I was paid, not the agreed amount, I was only paid a 1/3 of my work.

Oof, then I guess there’s really nothing you can do since they can argue you didn’t finish the project. This is quite low of them but I’d advise not to work on long-term projects as sometimes these kinds of situations happen (I do short-term scripting & GFX commissions).

perhaps for a solo dev but not for a team with 3 devs having 1 scripter
