How to achieve the portal effect from the videogame Portal?

Hello there!

I would like to know how I would go about adding this portal effect to my portals in Roblox Studio.

This is the effect I want

Here is the Portal so far

As you can see from the image above, the semi transparent blue part is not great to look at.

I could make a decal of the area where the portal would take you, but I would rather have a “3D moving portal” if that makes sense.

I believe the effect could be achieved by a camera script of some kind, but I don’t know how I would go about doing that and it could be extremely laggy. My scripting knowledge is limited, but anything helps.
( YouTube videos, images, code, API stuff, etc. )

So. Any thoughts and/or ideas?

Re-Creating a Portal Effect,

Last post of the night I promise! Since the discussion was in regards to creating a portal effect like in the game “Portal” I figured I’d lazily throw something together: This is more a demo of the visual than it is the ability to actually walk through the portals.
