How to make a Door animate open?

Currently I have a door that will swing open with the use of constraints and springs, but I want it to animate open when someone uses a key on the door. I’ve attempted using a hinge constraint, then trying to rotate it via code but didn’t have any luck. (This was months ago but am revisiting the project)

Does anyone know how to make the door swing open?
