So I noticed roblox removed the old modules to edit the chat settings and gave us this new “TextChatService” system but what I want to do Is make it so NYPD has there own channel and can only chat with other NYPD players on the gobal chatbox, and I know you can do /team to team chat, but I don’t want that “[Team]” text before every chat and I ALSO don’t want for the player to have to type /team every time, So essentially what I wanna do Is make it so that there Is a general chat for non police or fire dept teams to chat and then for NYPD and FDNY they have there own chatboxs. And yes I looked at other devforum posts and looked for help.

I did take a look at that and It did help me a little bit, I at least was able to figure out how to add a TextChannel, BUT when ever I went to use “:AddUserAsync()” It would add me to that TextChannel, but It
just breaks the chatbox after that. The youtube link below Is a better understand of what Im trying to do with the team channels.
